Will the tint make my room dark?
Only if you want it dark. Sola-X comes in 5%, 20% and 35%, and 50% and 70% on request. Frosting lets the light through. You choose the look, and we explain how each shade performs.
Will it lower my electricity bill?
Less heat comes through the glass, so your aircon and fans work less. This also puts less load on an inverter and battery. How much you save depends on your home, so we do not promise a number.
Can people see in at night with mirror tint?
Yes. Mirror tint works when it is brighter outside than inside. At night, with your lights on, people can see in. Use blinds or curtains at night, or choose Frosting for bathrooms and bedrooms.
I live in a complex or estate. Is that a problem?
Many body corporates and estates have rules about how windows look from outside, especially for mirror tint. Ask your trustees first. We can send you the film details to show them.
How long does the install take?
Most homes take one afternoon. Larger commercial jobs take 1 to 2 days.
Can I remove the film later? I rent.
Yes. Frosting comes off with no residue, so it suits rented homes and leased offices.
What does the warranty cover?
